HiStOrY - WW1

In History we are learning bout World War 1, so here is 9 facts, if you know any already, give yourself a point:
9. World War 1 started in 1914 and ended in 1918.
8. WW1 was the first war to use chemical weapons
7. It was called 'The War To End All Wars.
6. Before 1916, they had to use cotton pads drenched in urine to save themselves from the gas attacks.
5.The trenches reeked and had tones of diseases, like rats, trench foot and shell-shock.
4. They used to eat pea soup, nettles in soup and stews;biscuits and much more.
3. If you got out of the trenches, there was a 98% chance that you would be shot and then killed.
2. It was a dreadful war, and over 8 million people died.
1. 65 million went in, aprox 1/8 came out.
